Met-Gun Group Signed Two Major Projects in Spain

Met-Gün Group, a prominent Turkish company, is making waves in Spain through its subsidiary, Luminous Renewable Energy, by forging a major collaboration. In partnership with ISE Energy from the Spanish Gransolar Group, an EPC agreement has set the stage for two noteworthy photovoltaic projects. Situated in Soria and Zaragoza, these ventures are designed to produce a combined total of 23 MWp, boosting renewable energy usage and reinforcing Met-Gün's international standing.
🌍 Exploring the Zaragoza Project
The Zaragoza project is engineered to house an 11.32 MWp capacity powered by 16,408 bifacial modules, each providing 690 Wp. The PVHardware team, a member of Gransolar Group, supplies these modules, which are paired with single-axis solar tracking systems. This combination is expected to yield over 21,000 MWh annually, significantly enhancing energy efficiency. Such efforts contribute to the growth of the renewable energy sector, positioning it as a pivotal player.
🌍 Delving into the Soria Project
While both projects have impactful goals, the Soria project particularly stands out:
1. Technical Specifications
The Soria initiative boasts an installed capacity of 11.79 MWp, utilizing 16,968 modules. Like the Zaragoza project, it harnesses single-axis solar tracking systems, predicting an electricity generation of over 20,000 MWh annually. Together, both projects are projected to produce an impressive total of more than 41,000 MWh/year.
2. Strategic Ambitions
Luminous Renewable Energy is implementing these efforts as part of its vision to reach 1 GW capacity in Spain over the next three years. By initiating such substantial investments, the enterprise aims to establish a commanding presence in Spain's energy market, strengthening its leadership in renewable sources and increasing production scales.
